Khaled Tanji is a Palestinian filmmaker and Director of Photography known for his captivating visual storytelling and acute attention to detail in light and color. He graduated from Tehran University of Art with a specialization in Cinematography in 2019.

Tanji’s works have been selected in many film festivals around the world. He is the winner of the Best Cinematographer award at the Tokyo Film Festival 2023 and the Audience Award at the Vienna Film Festival 2023 for his work “In between.

Along with his experience in cinema, Khaled started as a theater director and actor, which has played a significant role in his artistic journey.  Where he discovered the importance of scenography, which became his fuel, drawing from what he learned from his theatrical background
